Maddy has sat on Aerial Equanimity’s board of directors since 2021. She chairs the volunteer committee and sits on the events committee. Maddy had her first Lyra class with Aerial Equanimity in Fall of 2020. She immediately fell in love with the apparatus and without hesitation she dove into the deep end, demonstrating remarkable drive and independent commitment. Though she has expanded her horizons to include other apparatuses including fabrics and sling, hard apparatuses (and in particular Lyra) remain her passion in part because, ‘you know what you’re getting, the hoop will always be a hoop.’ Maddy joined our team in December of 2021 after completing Lyra teacher training with Paper Doll Militia. She has recently also branched out into aerial performance in the local community!
