Aerial-Social and Emotional Learning Workshops
Our aerial-SEL workshops begin with a SEL*F check-in inspired by the Breathe for Change methodology, followed by a brief but comprehensive warm-up emphasizing intention in movement. Students then learn basic terminology and foundational wraps, grips, and body positions in a grounded setting, emphasizing mindfulness in techniques based on the teaching philosophy of Paper Doll Militia. Learners then take these foundations to the air, exploring basic postures and transitions, focusing on their experience of self. Reflective SEL outro exercises tie together these hour-long workshops.
