Teacher Spotlight (Part 3/3)

Maddy Naumoff

In this final post of our Spring 2022 teacher spotlights, we are illuminating a new face in the Reno aerial community. This rising star started off as a student with Aerial Equanimity, and through her dedication and hard work has become one of our trained and trusted teachers.

“Maddy had her first Lyra class with Aerial Equanimity in Fall of 2020. She immediately fell in love with the apparatus and immediately dove into the deep end, demonstrating remarkable drive and independent commitment. Though she has expanded her horizons to include other apparatuses including fabrics and sling, hard apparatuses (and in particular Lyra) remain her passion in part because, ‘you know what you are getting, the hoop will always be a hoop.’ She has recently also branched out into aerial performance in the local community!”

We are hyped to have Maddy on the team, and her innate desire to learn and grow as an aerialist and as an instructor leave us confident that she will continue to grow and develop into one of our communities many highly sought-after aerial instructors. Maddy recently completed Aerial Hoop teacher training with Paper Doll Militia, and teaches Youth Lyra I on Tuesdays from 4-5:15p.
