Lindy Deller
Part 2 of the Teacher Spotlight is here! This time we’re spotlighting another veteran in the Reno Aerial community with a colorful and diverse background in circus.
“Lindy has been training aerial since 2013. With a background in dance and rock climbing, she progressed rapidly, and has performed all over the United States, including with Boise Circus Guild, US Aerial Championships in New York, Reno PhilHarmonic, and dozens of local festivals and corporate events. After opening her own studio in 2015, Lindy quickly discovered her passion for teaching, and went on to lead workshops throughout the Mountain West, as well as at the American Youth Circus Organization (AYCO) Festival in San Diego. While her class offerings typically consist of intermediate and advanced silks, Lindy also enjoys exploring and performing on rope, hammock, hoop, trapeze, cube, lollipop, and is currently expanding her apparatus vocabulary to include Chinese pole. Teaching has given Lindy the unique opportunity to explore aerial concepts through a more analytical lens. The fulfillment of watching her students grow physically and creatively as they master these concepts remains unmatched, and is what brings Lindy back to the studio every week.”
We are super excited to have Lindy teaching some classes for Aerial Equanimity! She currently teaches Youth/Teens Aerial Silks II on Thursdays from 5:30-6:45PM. Come learn and benefit from this seasoned aerialist’s unique insights!
